The Virtuoso GTi 150P is significantly larger than the Heritage 130P — the jump from 130mm to 150mm aperture is noticeable in physical size as well as optical performance. The rocker box base houses the motorised altitude and azimuth drives, powered by a USB-C rechargeable battery that charges from any standard phone charger.
Build quality is excellent — consistent with Sky-Watcher's reputation for solid construction at competitive prices. The motorised drives are noticeably quieter than competing GoTo telescopes we tested — important for UK suburban observing where noise-conscious neighbours are a real consideration.
